"It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas"

My home as we begin to decorate: Christmas Tree, Christmas Carols, Christmas Kitty..Deck the Halls!!

Tell the kids about 5&10 stores, how they were like miniature Walmarts and lots of time had a soda fountain in them. The movie Breakfast at Tiffany's has a great visual of a 5 & 10 store in this clip (be warned that the characters are attempting to steal something in this clip. Try to help the kids focus on the layout of the store.):

Then explain the concept of 5 & 10 cents, nickles and dimes and $5 & $10, dollar bills. Use fingers & toes to emphasize 5 & 10.
